Pomfest Knit Night with Clara Parkes

13 July @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Free

This event is now fully booked. Please contact the shop if you would like to be placed on a waiting list.

In celebration of 5 fabulous years of Pompom Magazine, Wild and Woolly’s July Late Night Knitty Lock-in is moving over to Thursday and linking up with the London-wide Pomfest knit-night on 13th July.

And we’re thrilled to announce that we will be joined by Clara Parkes, editor of The Knitter’s Review, and author of The Yarn Whisperer and Knitlandia. Clara will be doing  a reading followed by a Q and A.

This knit-night will begin at the earlier time of 7.00 (doors will open from 6.45). The event will be free to attend but in a departure from our usual bursting-at-the-seams squeeze-in-all-the-knitters format, you will need to book a ticket as space is limited. Bookings will open on Tuesday 20th June at 6pm.

It’s still a Knitty Lock-in so do bring your knitting, and any other treats (like cakes or strawberries maybe?) that you fancy sharing. We’ll have plenty of  Pimms and lemonade to keep things jolly and cool. And of course lots of copies of Clara’s books in case you want to get one  signed.
