A cotton yarn made with a chainette construction which means it won’t split while you knit. It’s soft and durable and washes beautifully, making it a great choice for summer tops, bags, hats and anything for babies and kids. The fibre is beautifully soft GOTS organic cotton, with a very suedey handle.

The yarn has a standard DK meterage but looks thinner than a wool DK on account of the way that cotton fibres twist into yarn with less air between them. Don’t let this put you off using it for DK projects, as the yarn can tolerate a light DK gauge of 22-21 stitches. Equally, if you don’t mind the density, it will be happy knitted at a more sportish 25-23 stitch gauge.
