Join us for a festive launch of the Marshland Cowl. This year’s Christmas Kit is a celebration of the wild east – where urban and rural meet, decay and growth flourish side by side. This creative marshland space provided not only the inspiration but also the plants and their dyes, for Liz Baltesz’s exciting new cowl design.

Featuring pylons, waterways and plants coloured by Tansy, woad, weld, marigold and onion skins, the Marshland Cowl is a beautiful and unique piece of our local landscape.

This special launch  event will include locally foraged slow gin, seasonal sweet treats and stories from Liz about her journey from Marshland walks to dyeing and designing the finished piece, and is free and open to everyone!
