South Downs Yarn is a micro yarn company producing single flock, woollen spun, 100% Southdown wool form the South Downs. All the flocks the company work with are bred, reared, shorn and shepherded in and around the South Downs National Park, and the fleeces are taken from a specific year’s clip.

This autumn South Downs Yarn is launching a very special, limited edition, batch of lambswool.  We’re delighted to welcome founder, Louise Spong together with some of the lambswool from this crop, to Wild and Woolly on 30 November.
