School’s out for summer and that’s great – especially if you’re away by the seaside. But if you’re stuck in Clapton, and the days are beginning to drag, how about chilling out with friends and some cool knitting for a few afternoons?

No previous knitting knowledge needed, but if you’ve got some already, that’s great!

We’ll have loads of projects to choose from. Beginners can get started with a phone case, a hair scrunchy or a cowl. On-the-way-knitters can hit the ground running with a sun hat or a T-shirt (or whatever you have on the needles already that needs finishing) – it’s simpler and quicker than you might think.

There’ll be strawberries and lemonade to keep things sweet and a fan to keep us all cool.
