Join us on Yarn Shop Day 2018 for a vintage themed knitters’ tea-party to celebrate the arrival in London of Susan Crawford’s epic book of vintage Shetland designs.  Susan will be here to sign copies and talk about the book and her design work. She’ll be bringing a trunk show of beautiful samples of the featured designs, as well as plenty of her specially produced Fenella yarn.

Eight years in the making, and featuring a cast of celebrated historians, photographers and editors, The Vintage Shetland Project takes you on an extraordinary journey into the origins and inspirations that became one of the most famous hand knitting traditions in the world.

We’ll be celebrating this special occasion with lots and lots of tea, cake and a glass or two of fizz as well.
