This new ball winder from Knit Pro has a built-in clamp which fits onto any table or shelf up to 6.5 cm thick. Simply thread the end of your skein through the yarn guide, slot it into the notch in the top of the spindle, and crank the handle to wind your skeins of yarn into perfectly-formed balls. Works best when coupled with a table-top or shelf-mounted swift.
