This yarn uses fibre from cashmere goats, bred by Lanivendole’s Guilia in South Piedmont. Because of the delicacy of the fibre Guilia and Stefania chose a small mill for blending and spinning. The 2 ply structure provides a perfect thickness for hand knitting, yet maintaining a generous yardage.

It is incredibly soft and smooth with a natural shine,  perfect for all patterns that require a certain stitch definition, such as lace shawls of precious sweaters.

Lanivendole yarns are made following a short chain production, which is 100% traceable: it begins with fibre gathering directly from local breeders and proceeds in two mills where the fibre is blended and spun into yarn. It ends in the dyeing studio where they hand dye the skeins in small batches.
