It seems as if there are very few modern knitters who can remember a world before Malabrigo yarns. For may of us it was the first kettle dyed yarn that we encountered and became fascinated by the shifting colours and the fabric they produce.

Malabrigo chunky is the thickest that we stock. Three thick plies of merino wool and a medium worsted spin make this a bouncy round yarn as suitable for a beginner project such as a hat or scarf as it is for an experienced knitter to use cable and texture stitches for that last minute instant gratification project or last minute gift. This yarn would also make a gorgeous squishy hug of a sweater which might need a bit of depilling with one of our Gleaners but will be well worth the effort.
