Woolly with a little silkiness, not in a shiny silken floppy way, but more in the way of a secret ingredient. The silk plays a quiet bass role in this blend created at the John Arbon mill in Devon, rounding its corners and smoothing its depths. The Poldale silk marks a continuation of Third Vault’s characteristic dyeing inspired by figures from her fascination with fantasy. The skeins from her dyepots are coloured with the shades and mists that shield tricksters, magicians and mountains of fire.
Definietly soft enough for a shawl or next to the skin tee shirt, the Poldale Silk is equally lovely for a regular fine guage sweater, hats or mitts.
