Description

Mungo is an ideal all-seasons 4 strand worsted to aran weight yarn blending the bounce of wool with the drape of cotton into a slubby, textured yarn perfect for the sort of casual sweater you would throw on to watch the sun go down around a beach side campfire or to crunch through the first falling leaves of autumn. Its smooth worsted spin provides good stitch definition for cables or lace knitting. Meanwhile the slubby cotton texture does the the work of making plain stocking stitch anything but.

We couldn't be prouder of Mungo's environmental credentials: using recycled cotton yarn entirely sourced from waste generated by Portuguese spinning mills and recycled wool sourced from Portugal and/or Spain.

The yarn is not superwash treated or mercerised so we recommend hand washing and drying flat particularly, as cotton garments have a habit of drooping if dried whilst hanging.
