Description

3m of silicon stitch holder cord, available as a refill or packed in a handy metal tin.

Cut the cord to the right lenth for whichever section of your knitting needs to be left on hold: Ideal for holding live sleeve and body stitches on top-down sweaters, or provisionally cast on shoulders, or use a long length to thread through body stitches so you can try on your work as you go.

Directions for use:
Push the tip of your needle firmly into the end of a section of cord, and then gently slip your stitches onto the cord. Once you've transferred the required number of stitches, pull the cord off your needle tip and secure it with a knot.

Reverse the process to get your stitches back onto your needles: untie any knots in your cord, push the tip of the cord firmly onto your needle and gently slide the stitches back from the cord to the needle.  Once all the stitches are back on the needle, pull the cord off the tip.

Cords are suitable for needle sizes 2.75-8mm
