Yarn Food Wool Wash

Description

Yarn Food’s natural no-rinse detergents have been designed for knitters to clean, nourish and preserve hand-knitted woollen fabric so it can stay soft and last longer.

Choose from:

• Wool Wash – with added lanolin to feed moisture back into sheep’s wool and other animal-based yarn fibres.
• Sock Wash – with added lanolin and antimicrobial tea tree oil which works as a natural antidote to bacteria, fungi and odour, and has a crisp and clean fragrance.

How To Use

Fill a sink or basin with  4.5 liters, of cold or lukewarm water.

Add 3 pumps (5 ml) of Yarnfood Wash and soak your woollens for 20 minutes.

Gently remove from the water, squeeze without wringing, and roll up in a towel to squeeze the remaining water out.

Lay out flat or block to dry.

Washing machine: Suitable for regular or HE machines. Add 9 pumps (15ml) into detergent drawer or directly into the machine. Wash on wool or delicate cycle following your yarn’s care instructions.
