Learn to Crochet from Scratch

For absolute beginners, rusty old-timers and unsure novices, this crochet basics class will get you set up with the foundational stitches that can launch you into new adventures in crochet.
In this class you will learn how to :
- make a foundation chain, the centre piece of a granny square and the foundation of most crochet projects.
- single and double crochet, the primary stitches used in granny squares
- slip stitch, to join sections and finish rounds neatly.
- work in rounds, starting from the centre and working outward. You’ll learn how to properly join rounds and create the layered effect.
Yarn and crochet hooks for use during the class will all be provided
Crochet Course students can purchase extra yarn and hooks at the end of the class with a 10% participant’s discount.
Cancellation Policy
When booking your ticket, please make sure you are able attend on the date selected. If you wish to cancel your booking we can offer refunds on purchased tickets up to two weeks (14 days) before the class date. After that time, refunds will be dependent on whether we can re-sell your ticket to someone on a waiting list. For classes which are regularly repeated, date change requests can be considered up to 10 days before your workshop date. Please email us for more details.
