Embroidery on Knits with Judit Gummlich

Join embroidery designer, Judit Gummlich, for this special master class in the techniques she developed in her celebrated book, Embroidery on Knits.

During the class Judit will guide you through her approach to decorating your hand knits using patterns inspired by nature and imagination, drawn on soluble cloth. You will learn a range of different embroidery stitches and get to know more about her creative processes.

The class is suitable for all levels of enthusiastic knitters.

Students are invited to bring along any plain (untextured) knits to embroider or to make a swatch to embroider in advance of the class.

Yarns and threads will be provided. As this is an activity that uses yarn scraps you are also welcome to bring along and share your yarn left-overs.

Cancellation Policy

When booking your ticket, please make sure you are able attend on the date selected. If you wish to cancel your booking we can offer refunds on purchased tickets up to two weeks (14 days) before the class date. After that time, 90% refunds are available dependent on whether we can re-sell your ticket to someone on a waiting list. For classes which are regularly repeated, date change requests can be considered up to 10 days before your workshop date. Please email us for more details.
