(Heart) Shaped Intarsia – Valentines Special ❤️❤️❤️

Shaped intarsia is a new technique that smoothes the pixelated edges of traditional intarsia designs. Where traditional intarsia gives you steps, shaped intarsia makes a curved line, which turns out to be perfect for knitting love hearts ❤️.

Join Wendy Peterson, intarsia addict and founder of YarnSub, for a morning of new techniques and discoveries to sweeten your passion for knitting.  During the class you will make a love heart swatch, which includes a range of stitches necessary to create different shapes.

All yarns will be provided.

Skills required

Since shaped intarsia builds on traditional intarsia techniques, you should have at least some experience of intarsia knitting — but you don’t need to be an expert! If you want to brush up on your skills beforehand, consider taking Wendy’s Intarsia from the Beginning class first.

Cancellation Policy

When booking your ticket, please make sure you are able attend on the date selected. In general, our classes are non-refundable. Exceptions to this rule will be wholly dependent on whether we can re-sell your ticket to someone on a waiting list, in which case a 90% refund or date change will be considered.  For this reason we urge you to contact us at the earliest opportunity if you wish to cancel your booking.  Please email us for more details.

In the event that we need to cancel a class, we will provide as much notice as possible and offer either a full refund or an alternative booking date.
