Brusca can give the impression of being quite stern and rustic at first sight, but it only takes a squeeze to discover its soft heart – made from a woollen spun 2ply blend of Portuguese Saloia and Portuguese Merino, which knits up to a proper DK gauge. It’s a non-superwash processed woollen spun – light enough for a Hackney autumn but still cosy and reasonably quick to knit. From texture to cables and colour work we can’t speak highly enough of this versatile and affordable yarn.
