Spun at JC Rennie’s 300 year old Milladen mill in Aberdeenshire, this rich-heritage yarn is light, airy and full of character. It knits up into fabric with a soft and felty feel.

The yarn knits as a 4ply but with a much more generous yardage than other fingering weight yarns.
An average (45″ bust) sweater will need approximately 5-7 balls.
On the patterns front, the Supersoft is a perfect match for Biches et Buches Petite Lambswool and also an excellent substitute for Brooklyn Tweed Loft – same meterage, with a stronger (plied) construction.

The lightness of the yarn together with its vast and vibrant palette of colours, including some which are beautifully heathered, is super for colour work – but very hard to choose from! We’ve made a start with  this initial selection of colours but if you don’t see the colour you’re after, do get in touch as we are always open to expanding the range.
