Schoppel Zauberball Crazy is another of those sock yarns which makes even the plainest of socks compulsive knitting with its long colour changes where lengths of two colour ‘barber pole’ style worsted plies slowly fade into each other. It’s hard to stop knitting when you are wondering what is going to happen next. Made from 75% strong superwash wool and 25% nylon, it makes good hard wearing socks but can also be used for a range of accessories. It’s great fun to use in a stranded or mosaic colour work piece alongside a solid neutral colour where stained glass like effects can be achieved.
