WYS Bluefaced Leicester Aran is yarn as nature intended. This British spun 4ply heavy Aran weight worsted spun Blue Faced Leicester yarn comes in natural shades showing all the characteristics of the ever popular Blue Faced Leicester in its non super wash treated state.

This soft, lustrous yarn can be used for accessory and garment projects where softness and crisp stitch definition are a priority. We have found that this yarn can feel quite stiff knitted to the traditional Aran tension of 18 sts to 10 cms and can comfortably perform at 16 or even 14 sts per 10cms making it suitable for some patterns which call for a light chunky.
